Happy Mother’s Day!

I know as moms we have so many hats we wear every day. Sometimes we can look at other moms and feel like we aren’t doing enough. In the world of social media some may feel the need to compare themselves to the highlighted reels of others lives. I say to you, enjoy the moment you are in, wherever that may be in life.

What I do know is that we all have seasons when we look really good, and we all have seasons we wish no one else could see. So let’s make a promise to love ourselves no matter what social media says, no matter what season you are in. We will find true happiness from within ourselves and not through the eyes of others.

Everyone chases after happiness, but few understand where it comes from. Happiness really isn’t a destination, but a journey that you’re experiencing every single day. Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude. So let’s live, love, and laugh in every season of our lives!

I love these photos for that reason, we were just having fun. Living in the moment. In that moment I decided not to be afraid, but to let my silly side out. To just have fun.

I am an over thinker in the worst way. A lot of times instead of just enjoying the moment I am over analyzing it. Worried if my hair is right, is my shirt right, how is this going to look once developed? This time I just said to heck with it! Let's have fun!

My charge to you is to enjoy every moment in life without hesitation. “Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present”-Jim Rohn. I hope you find true happiness and hold on to it! Live bold, live brave, live with no regrets.
